Damnoen Saduak canal built in 1866 by king Rama IV of chakri dynasty. during the past decade this province become well known and popular visiting place, because of the old style traditional where the local are buying and selling in the puddle boat canal, a very colorful fresh fruit and vegetables produced from the nearby orchard farm. these boat vendors are loading fresh fruit from nearby orchard and resale it to this market to local buyers, but very cheap, as well as very fresh from the farm, while as you can observed some other interesting  vendors products such as hat, drums, guitar, miniature, umbrella everything they offer are hanging across the side in the canal wall, or water side stall you can bargaining the price is fun, but ideal for buying a fresh fruit not over price while others selling food and snack inside the puddle boat, noodle ,spicy somtham, and grilled B-B-Q one of the most popular and common that visitors should try, it will burn your pocket for only 30 baht per bowl of noodles and fried chicken ,chilled coconuts,and cold drink  Budget visitors  should try riding the wood boat they called it James bond boat one of James bond movies was   film here you can  buy and shops along the canal while you'r still on board the boat and negotiate the price it was fun,while Budget back packer will cost you only 250 to 300 baht to visit this wonderful and lively place the atmosphere in the market certainly  so unique, so visitors  plan to visit this vibrant most colorful and lively market only 105 kilometers, so tourist individual  recommended to come earlier to avoid crowded from other travel groups and local visitors crowds are everywhere during rush  hour and don’t forget your camera this market is the most photograph in Thailand ,but crowded during 9 - 11 o’clock but it’s wonderful for the tourist  to come early morning  around 5:30 am and witness the old traditional floating market just started arrive the boat vendors, carrying colorful fruits, vegetables,old women selling garlands,  while busy local buyer and the sellers are flocking in, the  tourist can hire a small motor Boat or puddle boat for rent you can hire a boat for bargain price between 300 above depends on how many hours, tourist should try a boat ride and see the view of Damnoen sudak floating market canal view while the people living along the canal for decades and traditional Thai houses standing in the water ,tourist groups first timer  recommended to take the tour package offered from the hotel or travel tour in Bangkok its pretty worth and not so expensive than travel alone with unlucky over price Taxi cab its more frustrating.so negotiate the taxi fare first, on the street  cab not from the hotel taxi.

Mini Van -   from BTS sky train station drop off to Victory Monument station, then follow the sign exit no.2 going down to Victory Monument square, nearby keep an eye where the small market at the back, you spotted the many white color mini Van, the Mini Van station was located, don’t be surprise during rush hour some people are queuing to catch up the next trip.
Bus - another option alternative and cheap the fare is 50 baht air-con and 30 baht non air single trip  located at southern bus terminal in Bangkok, the first trip is 6:00 am this bus will bring you to the Market but it takes 2 hours drive depends on the traffic.while Going back to Bangkok Plenty of Mini Van at Damnoen Saduak Market are available so don't worry.

Canal Boat Tour - visit the coconut sugar farm, The Royal Thai Handicraft, monkey shows and elephant ride, temples are beautiful and the local way of life living in the nearby canal with traditional Thai houses.
