How to commute minivan, going to khao yai.If visitors located at Bangkok, take bts sky train or air port metro link get off at victory monument, a few minutes walking distance down exit to the road side, there’s a lot of minivan, the route has different destination in up country. Victory monument is a gate away route in many provinces. there are minivan queuing route going to pakchong, the van are not leaving if it's not full, you can expect more than an hour’s to wait. the distance is about 205 km or two hours drive. From Bangkok You can pay the fare the driver up front 180 baht p/ person. off to pakchong district, there are many public vihycles "songtaew" at thanarad rd,will take you to national park entrange gate just tell them you off to the gate. you can hitch hike up to the visitors center about 14 kilometers distance, by informing the park office, finally when your on the way up to the visitors center you can ask any information. camping site accommodation, tour guide or trails.

at mor chit northern bus terminal in Bangkok, going to Nakhon Ratchasima/ korat There are many bus route going to Nakhon Ratchasima, or Korat this main road are the way, going to pakchong, take the bus going to Nakhon Ratchasima or korat then tell the driver you get off at pakchong, the fare is 180 baht one way for aircon dition bus. at thanarat road side there is song thaew runs every half an hour along thanarad rd, up at the national park entrance gate, get off, you can arrange hitch hike going up, only a few nimutes you can inform in advance at the park office, even renting a hiking outfit, or zafari night tour this can be arrange everything in the park office. call tel. 0860926529, 08-60926531 If visitors are group, the best option is to Rent a private minivan that can load 8 passengers, at local travel agency in Bangkok; with driver it will cost only 3,500 baht p/ day.
